Foreign Correspondent is a 1940 American spy thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock which tells the story of an American reporter who tries to expose enemy spies in Britain, a series of events involving a continent-wide conspiracy that eventually leads to the events of a fictionalized World War II. Johnny Jones (Joel McCrea) is an action reporter on a New York newspaper. The editor appoints him European correspondent because he is fed up with the dry, reports he currently gets. Jones’ first assignment is to get the inside story on a secret treaty agreed between two European countries by the famous diplomat, Mr. Van Meer (Albert Bassermann). However things don’t go to plan and Jones enlists the help of a young woman (Laraine Day) to help track down a group of spies. 7:30PM

Journey into Fear is a 1943 American spy film based on the Eric Ambler novel of the same name. Directed by Norman Foster and starring Orson Welles, Joseph Cotten and Dolores del Rio, the film follows a US Navy engineer, returning to the US with his wife from a conference, who soon finds himself pursued by Nazi agents, set out to kill him. Without a word to his wife, he flees the hotel the couple is staying in and boards a ship, only to find, after the ship sails, that the agents have followed him there. 9:50PM
